David Evans runs deep in Queenstown

EVANS CASHES AGAIN

Well done David Evans on coming 9th in the ANZPT Event in Queenstown, New Zealand today.

Evans played really well throughout the tournament according to Tournament Director Danny McDonnagh, and was unlucky to go out as he did. Daves all in after a 8s 2h 5h flop saw his Qh Qc against Ad Kc looking good for a much needed double up. the 10d was OK, but his luck ran out when the As dropped on the river.

That was Daves second final table this year, certainly confirming his place amoungst the top players in the Asia Pacific region for 2012. He brings home about A$10,000 & some great memories from Queenstown.

Hopefully Dave will be able to join Team WAPL for the upcoming tour to the Macau Poker Cup Championships in September.

WAPL freind and PokerStars Pro Bryan Huang also played in Queenstown, coming 6th after also having a good tournament according to McDonnagh. Check out PokerStarsBlog for full details.
