Australia Day and beyond!

From all of us at WA Poker League, we hope that you had a safe and fun Australia Day! We sure did!

Back to our regular tournament schedules this week! Good to see the newer venues kicking off well, we're sure they'll grow quickly!

Play of the week! - The Attfield on Thursday. Cameron Brown heads up vs Nik Quayle. 8 5 offsuit vs King 5 offsuit. Flop comes 9 8 8 for trip 8s. We think it's all over! Turn card brings a King. The river brings another King! Full house Kings over 8s beats Full House 8s over Kings! Unbelievable hand that saw Nik almost recover from being very short stacked to winning! Cam managed to hold on to take the tournament in the end! Well done, some great hands played and won!
