Southerlys Special Pro Event - 6th April 08!
We're delighted to announce to our members that we will be holding a special "Pro" event at Southerlys Port Denison on 6th April 08!
This is your chance to get "in the money" playing poker at Southerlys, with cash prizes paid out to the top 10% of places in the Tournament, Sit N Goes and a Cash Table will be running!
This will be a licensed and legal cash event run by the Western Australian Poker League on behalf of the Southerlys Bar Poker Club! If you're a regular player at Southerlys, make sure you speak to Callum and the crew about getting involved in the Club!
The event will start at 2pm sharp, with registration at 1pm. The tournament structure and buy-ins will emulate our standard Pro League events, with $30 of the $40 buy-in being paid out on the day. The $10 goes to the Club to help cover licensing and operational expenses for the day.
For those who are not quite ready to play for money, we will still hold a "Free" tournament in conjunction with this Special Event, and the regular Southerlys Monday Free League Tournament will still be held on Monday the 7th April.
So put the word out, get your friends together and head to Southerlys on the 6th April for a great day of poker! Even if they don't know how to play, Jason and the crew from WA Poker League will be more than happy to help beginners learn this great game!
