Sad news for Mandurah Members

It's with sadness that we inform you that Len Carrier, grandfather of Carl Brownlow, passed away suddenly the other day. Len had a love of poker, and they had many very enjoyable Wednesday nights at Brighton Hotel.

Carl tells us that since flying home recently, Len had proudly displayed his 2 WAPL Trophies on top of his TV, and told Carl just last week how he couldn't wait to come back to Perth later in the year "to win some more trophies!"

Members may recall Len participating in the "King of the Hill" Special Event at Claremont Football Club recently. He played and then stayed till the end, even though his flight back to the UK was early the next morning! He simply loved his poker and thanked us and our members for making him feel so welcome before leaving Australia.

To Carl, Denise, Pauline and family, all our staff and members who were fortunate enough to meet Len pass on their sympathy, and we're glad to have been able to share so many fun times with you all.

RIP Len
