Next Team Event - Pop Music Team Challenge! THIS FRIDAY!
For those who have been looking forward to our next Themed Team Event, it's nearly upon us! Here's the info, if you've missed it at events over the past few weeks! -
A couple of notes... Due to the popularity of the last Team Challenge, please make an effort to pre-register your team before the event, as we had DOUBLE the expected teams for last event, and it made for a late start. To help us avoid this, please pre-register!
The THEME for this event is Pop Music, and those who want a chance at the great Free Tournament at the Poker Den should dress to impress, as their favourite band! The best themed team will win the best theme team tournament prize!
Date - Friday 30th May
Time - Registration + Cash Tables from 6pm to 6:45pm, Tournament Starts 7pm
Location - Claremont Football Club, Davies Road Claremont. Remember, the club is literally 2 minutes walk from Claremont Train Station, and has great club prices! If you're driving, there's lots of parking too!
Pre-Event Ticket Sales - At events, ask your Tournament Director once you have your team together!
Details - $10 per player, 4 Player Teams, 4 section split tournament, with team player's finishing points being added together to give a team total. The top team takes the prize pool. (80% entry total to Prize Pool, 20% to Club Fundraising).
Teams must have a Team Name and a Captain, and may be themed too! The best themed team also wins an awesome prize of a FREE Private tournament at the Poker Den for up to 24 of the team's friends!
The top 2 players from each section progress to the Individual Final Table, to play off for a $50 Poker Den Voucher.
The winning team will be determined by adding all team member's points together. Top scoring team wins! Points are based on reverse scale of number of players. eg. first out gets 1 point, second out 2 points, etc.
There will be Cash Tables and both small and big buy-in Sit n Go tournaments running until midnight, so this is definitely a tournament not to miss out on!
Don't have a team? No problem! Come down on the night between 6-6:30pm, and put your name down on the list for random allocation to a team!
This event is open to current WA Poker League members and/or members of Claremont Football Club. There is NO necessity to play in the event to take part in the Cash Tables and Sit n Goes.
