Some great results last night at the Universal Bar and Mirrabooka Tav! Kristy and Les Mellor managed to take out 1st and 2nd in an awesome daughter father combination that saw the pair taking $345 and $172.50 between them! In a fun Pro League Tournament that paid out top 4, 3rd place and $103.50 went to Tony Tran, with a very consistent Deb Palmer taking 4th with $69! 2 in the top 4, great work girls!
Mirrabooka Tavern wasn't without a special night itself. Paul Devereux, Western Australian Poker League's first blind member, just squeezed through to take out the Free League Tournament from Chris Bell, after a nail-biting heads up which saw the chip lead shift many times. Congratulations Paul, and a special thankyou goes to Ross Belstead, who very kindly offered to be Paul's seer for the tournament. This was Mirrabooka's biggest night yet, so we're looking forward to even more next week, when hopefully the weather will be a little nicer!
