WAPL Players progress @ WSOP APAC

Well it was a hard day at the tables for some and a good day for others at Crown Melbourne yesterday. Unfortunately, Garry Goss ran deep in his M/E Satellite in the morning but was eliminated just short of a seat. Bad Luck Garry. Then the Main Event Flt3 kicked off, and late in the day Pat Healey busted having fought back from as low as 4000 to get up to 30,000 just to not make it through to today's Day 2. Bad Luck Pat. With 262 starters today, several WAPL and other Friends of the WAPL are still in contention, and I am sure many players will gain greatly from playing against players like Daniel Negreanu(136K), Phil Ivey(123K) and Antonio Esfandiari(45K) amongst many World Class players in the big field. One WAPL Member still in the running is Jeffery Field(11,300) and we wish Jeffery all the best over the next few days. Other players that many WAPL Players have built up friendships with over the many team trips to Macau are also doing well: Bryan Hauang(12,425) David Steicke(19,900) Celina Lin(23,800) Yuri Ishida(28,100) Tony Hachem(37,300) Errolyn Strang(46,250)and WA's Aaron Lim(22,575). Finally, congratulations to Aaron Lim from Perth on winning Event 4 and bringing the WSOP Bracelet home, along with the $233,800 in Cash. Well done Aaron.
