Week 12!
Week 12 was another huge week for WA Poker League!
Monday saw yet again another record number of players at the Paddo, with a mindblowing 148! Still our Pro League ladder leader, Ryan Bochorsky powered his way through the competition to take out the biggest WAPL Tournament yet, and the biggest first prize yet of $1000!!! (It was actually $999, but Porcia donated $1 to hit the grand, nice!) With the win, Ryan has again added a buffer to his lead which Tony Tran had been rapidly catching up to! Lots of competition at the top, and all the way through the Pro League Ladder! Results from the Tournament!
On Tuesday, Universal Bar had a hit night, 75 players total, and a big win going to Matthew Thompson, who took home $506.25 along with his Pro League Trophy! Well done Matthew! Results!
Mirrabooka had another big night, with Ashley Quek taking out the top spot, worth 1369 points, against 67 other players!
Wednesday, our busy night, showed a big turnout at Rivervale and The Boat, as well as a return to good form at Beeches, and another solid showing at Claremont! Rivervale saw a boyfriend/girlfriend heads up, with Tracey Snaith finishing strongly to beat Srdjan Jakovljevic to the $580.50! Event Results!
Adrian Ho won at Claremont, taking 520 Free League Points! Event Results!
The Boat had a new player record, with 72, beautiful! Chris Chamoun won on the night, securing 1440 points! Event Results!
Beeches had 46, and saw Nigel Simmons take top spot with 920 points for the night! Event Results!
Moon and Sixpence Woodvale had their 1st night on Thursday night, with a promising 22 player start! John Florento won the event! Event Results!
The Attfield had a solid 60 player tournament, where some missed out due to seating allocations and too many on the waitlist! Next week will be 10 tables, 80 players + waitlist, so let's fill it up! Richard Trevithick won the event and the $405 on the night! Event Results!
Moondyne Joe's saw a good turnout, with 47 players! Simone Boccia won the 940 Free League points! Event Results!
Finally, but certainly not least, Woodbridge Hotel had their 2nd event on Saturday afternoon! We had a HUGE increase in players for this Pro League Tournament, a total of 52! We'll be increasing the number of tables from 5 to 10 for next week, so don't worry about missing out! Let's make it another big jump next Sat! There was some great play all day, but in the end, Robyn Ivankovich triumphed, taking a 1st place prize of $390! Well done Robyn! Event Results!
