WA Poker League Announcement!
More Prizes, More Winners, More Fun!
Yes, that's right, now there's more Cash in Pro League, we're increasing the number of players paid out across the board! So now you have a better chance of getting in the money! What's more, we have some other exciting ways to win in both Free and Pro League!
The WAPL Poker Passport is here! You'll notice over the coming week, the arrival of a Poker Passport when you register to play in a WAPL Tournament! This is a great way of rewarding our loyal members who support the venues we play in! The basic idea is this...
- You get your Poker Passport at the start of the night, when you register.
- Every time you purchase Food or Drinks from the Venue (Drinks may be non-alcoholic of course!) you get a stamp from the bar staff on your passport.
- Once you fill in the 4 stamp spots on the Passport, hand it in to the WAPL Tournament Director to be entered into the draw to win! Obviously there are differences between Free and Pro League. These are as follows.
Free League - If you've unfortunately already gone out of the Tournament, and you have filled your Poker Passport and handed it in, there will be a draw at the 1st break. The winner of the draw who is no longer in the Tournament will be awarded a wildcard reentry into the Tournament, identically as if he or she had been the last reserve! Also, for everyone else in Free League who completes their Poker Passport on the night, you will be given a Bonus of 100 extra points for that Free League Tournament!
Pro League - Another chance to win! Complete your Poker Passport, hand it in to your Tournament Director, and make sure you're there for the draw to be in with a chance to win one or more prizes, both WAPL and Venue donated, should the Venue decide to do so! This draw will be done just prior to the commencement of the Final Table of 8 players, so make sure you stick around to watch the Final Table battle it out for the cash to have a chance to win!
Please note, you *must* be present in order to claim a prize from your completed Poker Passport, or else the prize will be redrawn for another lucky winner! There is a limit of one Passport per player per Tournament, and it's valid for that Tournament only.
Just some more reasons why WA Poker League is the most fun and rewarding way to play Poker in WA!
Keep having fun!
